Rebbetzen Judy has been living with Jewish spirituality since 1970, when her search for G*dliness and truth lead her to Shlomo Carlebach’s House of Love and Prayer and to a life filled with Torah. She is a Certified Nurse Midwife and the mother of ten children. Her life has been one of spiritual seeking and of facilitating those around her in the path of actualization of the self and the soul. She is a women's health and marriage consultant for rabbis in Israel, New York and Florida. She has also helped many individuals and families with infertility, PCOS and other health, family, intersoul and spiritual matters. Judy has practiced Midwifery for over 18 years, lived in Israel for 18 years, and has delivered over 1500 babies is Israel and in the USA. "My search for spiritual integrity began early in life. The Reform Judaism I was raised in left so many questions and unfulfilled thoughts. My dear mother Debby, may she be healthy, introduced me to meditation and spirituality at a young age. "I studied and searched in Eastern religions but was not satisfied spiritually. A Zen Monk told me to check out things in my own backyard, so I went to the House of Love and Prayer. There I met Shlomo Carlebach, who touched my soul with heavenly love, and my years of searching and yearning began to make sense. "I began to observe the Torah way of life. I wanted to live the real thing. I attended Lubavitch in Los Angeles, and Rabbi Cunin sponsored my journey to New York to attend a women's Yeshiva and Teacher’s College, which I graduated from in 1972. While in school there I was introduced to a Torah scholar Mr S. Kaplan, and we were married. Sadly the marriage ended in divorce after 29 years. "Nevertheless those years were full of life, growing spiritually, giving life. We lived for 18 years in Israel, and I have been blessed with 10 beautiful and incredible children, and 10 equally beautiful and incredible grandchildren. "I married Rabbi Yisroel in 2004. We currently live in Boca Raton and can be found at the Carlebach Minyan of Boca Raton Synagogue. I practice Midwifery in West Palm Beach, and enjoy observing the day to day correlation between birth and spiritual awakenings. "
