Rosh Chodesh /New Moon Women's Circles
- Because of their belief in the hidden light, and their
shunning of the Golden Calf, Rosh Chodesh was
rewarded to women 3 ½ thousand years ago.
Ever since, women refrain from work on Rosh chodesh,
and gather for the transmission and celebration of
women's wisdom through candle lighting and inspirational
readings, stories, songs, guided meditation, prayers,
sharing and refreshments.
Celebration of the Feminine in Judaism
- On the outside, it may appear that Judaism is patriarchal,
but on the inside of the inside, Judaism is about the
feminine.
Through kabalistic meditation, learning, dyad and group
processes and simply by being in our circle as women,
we will celebrate the unique gifts we bring into the world
as women.
